In our third grade class, we are getting right back into the swing of things. We all enjoyed our restful break and are anxious to get right back to routine! Recently in math, we have been working on multiplication, area and perimeter, and will soon be moving on to some fractions. They can practice these skills by working alongside with you in the kitchen while you cook!
Please be sure that all third graders are reading every single night and practicing their multiplication facts. We need all of the practice we can get! Have a great week!
Dear E.J. Families!
I am still anxiously awaiting 4th GRADE PERMISSION SLIPS for puberty classes. If you would like to email me to double check that I have yours, please do so.
Allergies are starting! A common cold mimics allergies too. Over the counter medications can help with symptoms. Please medicate your children before coming to school since the health office does NOT HAVE cold/allergy medications.
Thank you for keeping our students happy and healthy!
Parking Lot Procedures: Please read and familiarize yourself with the following procedures for use of the parking lot during drop-off and pick-up. These procedures have always been in place but we wanted to make sure our families were aware of them so everyone can help make this time safer.
Enter the parking lot on the right side.
PULL FORWARD- DO NOT STOP IN THE CROSSWALK.
Pull as far forward as you can into the drop-off/pick-up lane by the green curb.
DO NOT PARK your car and GET OUT OF IT while in the loading and unloading zone.
At NO time should you park along the fence across from the green curb (drop-off/pick-up lane).
The area that says NO PARKING is for circling around the parking lot ONLY. Parking here stops the flow of traffic and is not allowed.
Snacks and Lunches Healthy snacks and lunches help your children get through the day much easier. It also teaches them to make healthy food choices in the future. Please help them by sending nutritious snacks and lunches with such things as fruits or vegetables. *For snacks and lunch, please limit the amount of sugary food. Not allowed at school: candy, coffee, soda, tea, power and sports drinks
Thank you for helping make your child’s day more successful!
